Neighbors, Visitors – Patients all,
Please pardon my bluntness…our country, and by extension our MVMC
community, faces a health care crisis. Costs and health insurance premiums
are rising while government entitlement program reimbursements are in
chronic retreat. With an aging "baby boom" demographic, matters
can and will only get worse. Confusing the problem is the uncertainty
of a political smorgasbord of government proposals to fix it….And
now comes uncertainty about the economic outlook.
We need your help.
Caught in the middle of this perfectly huge healthcare storm of rising
costs and lower reimbursements rides the miracle of our little independent
clinic…battling it out every day, continuing to provide high quality
care to more than 13,000 patients last year….without compromising
our original honorable mission…which is to provide care without
regard to ability to pay. That is our mission, our history – and
our success…for over thirty years.
How do we continue to do it? How does your clinic continue to survive
and beat the odds and ride out the storm? Simple answer….outstanding
people! Your clinic has a dedicated staff…it has a dedicated roster
of volunteers…but most importantly it has you…dedicated friends
and neighbors of the clinic….who consistently, every year, dig down
deep into your pockets to ensure that the clinic is there for all. This
collective generosity is truly unique and is what makes our clinic special!
We realize that there is competition out there today for your charitable
dollars…there always is. But I ask you, in these uncertain times,
with health care in crisis mode, to consider your clinic a priority so
that our dedicated staff can continue their commitment to serve excellence
and quality care for years to come. As a friend and donor you make the
critical difference to the viability of our clinic.
