Saturday Success!

Beginning in January, MVMC added Saturday hours to meet the requests of our community. We currently staff with one provider, one nurse, and one receptionist starting at 8:30am. The schedule includes some booked appointments for patients who prefer being seen on a Saturday as well as same day opening for acute illnesses.

So far the response has been positive from many grateful patients who would have otherwise traveled at least 45 minutes to the nearest emergency room or waited until Monday.

"We are averaging 11 - 12 patients per Saturday " claims Rob Litchfield, Practice Manager. " The response from those patients has been overwhelmingly positive and we feel as the word gets out, more patients will be requesting appointments."
