SUCCESSFUL DAY FOR MVMC OPEN

Despite the cold weather, a full field of 125 golfers competed for the fourth annual Jean Cavanagh Memorial Award, presented to the team with the lowest gross score. This year’s winners were Terry Stoddard, Eric Griffith, Nick Matulomis, and T.J. Matulomis

            A special thank you to John Pawlek and the staff at Tater Hill for all their help throughout the day. Thank you to all the volunteers, sponsors and silent auction donors who contributed to our most successful tournament to date! Despite being faced with a difficult year to support local causes, we were fortunate to have many return sponsors as well as add new ones!

Last but not least, thank the golfers for participating and we look forward to seeing you again at next year’s tournament!

            All proceeds go to MVMC in helping to cover the cost of providing healthcare to the community. The Mountain Valley Medical Clinic, a non-profit medical clinic located in Londonderry, benefits from this event as its biggest fund-raiser of the year.
