Prescription Renewal Line

To simplify getting your prescription medications renewed, MVMC is pleased to announce the addition of a prescription telephone line as a new service to our patients.

This phone line will access a voice mailbox that allows you to leave the prescription information for us to call into your stated pharmacy.*

To access the prescription line, please call 824-9578 extension 38 and leave a message any time. This line is monitored by the nurses between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday though Friday. We will make every effort to call in your prescription within one business day of your request. Unless the nurse has a question about your information, you will not hear back from us. Please call your pharmacy to confirm that your prescription is ready prior to picking it up.

The following information will be needed when you leave the voice mail message:

  • Your name and telephone number.
  • Your date of birth.
  • The name of your medication.
  • The strength of your medication (for example: mg, mcg.)
  • The instructions for taking (for example: once a day, twice a day.)
  • The number of pills you would like in your bottle.
  • The name of your doctor.
  • The name and location of your pharmacy.

    *NOTE: Please state if your prescription is filled by a mail-in prescription service. We will prepare for you a prescription that you may mail to your prescription service. You may request that this prescription be sent to you or be held for you to pick up at MVMC reception desk.
