Our staff works as a team to provide comprehensive assessment of most
medical problems. MVMC’s expert, high-tech, pre-hospital emergency
treatment is complimented by close coordination with the Londonderry Volunteer
Rescue Squad. When necessary, referral is made to appropriate specialists,
institutions and home care services.
A whole-family treatment clinic, MVMC provides a wide range of care from
newborns to geriatrics.
Payment for Services at MVMC
Charges are kept at a minimum in order to keep health care affordable.
A sliding fee schedule is available to community residents who are uninsured
and unable to pay the full cost of their medical care. If you or your
family need financial assistance, please ask for a sliding-fee application
at the front desk.
Payment is expected at time of service; Visa, MasterCard, or personal
checks are accepted. As a patient courtesy, the Clinic will bill your
insurance company. It is the patient's responsibility, however, to know
the details of their particular plan.
The providers at MVMC are approved by numerous health insurance and managed
care plans. Specific questions about your health insurance should be directed
to your employer's benefits counselor or to the plan's customer service
or membership representatives.
MVMC accepts assignment for Medicare, Medicaid of VT, BC/BS of VT, CBA,
Cigna, GreatWest Life, MVP, New England Financial, Tricare, VCS, and Worker's
Compensation.
The Clinic is selective about the insurance companies with which it contracts
to provide services. Managed care insurers typically cover preventive
screenings that meet or exceed nationally accepted standards of practice.
Some plans cover education expenses.
Today, most health plans require patients to pay for a portion of the
services they receive. If your insurance requires copayments, please remember
that these are due at the time of service.
The MVMC can help patients with many insurance and managed care questions,
and can also submit health insurance claims on behalf of patients.
